Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Juquiratiba's Alberto Dracena played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abel Dante in the 3rd minute of play. In the 5th minute Claudinho Ferraz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eusébio Favoretto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Abel Dante hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. When Juquia's Abel Dante in the 9th minute got a chance for a shot 9th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Juquiratiba's goalie prevented a goal. After a rather tough play, Juquiratiba's Marcinho Freire got a free kick in the 12th minute. If Hélio Macedo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Adalmo Chaves charged in rather forcefully in the 20th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Adalmo Chaves the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 20th minute, Adalmo Chaves hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Norberto Santos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Eusébio Favoretto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Marcinho Freire fell near the penalty area in the 26th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Juquiratiba's protests and gave Marcinho Freire a yellow card for diving instead. Abel Dante fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alberto Dracena having to interfere. Claudinho Ferraz received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Eusébio Favoretto came out and tried to block the shot, but Claudinho Ferraz slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 33rd minute. Norberto Santos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eusébio Favoretto having to interfere. Juquia's Eusébio Favoretto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Claudinho Ferraz in the 39th minute of play. 42 minutes into the match, Hélio Macedo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Alberto Dracena. Juquiratiba's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Hélio Macedo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.
The wind increased when Claudinho Ferraz made the kick off in the second half. Norberto Santos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 68 minutes into the match, Juquiratiba's goalkeeper Alberto Dracena had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Hélio Macedo. In the 70th minute, Abel Dante got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Pedro Augusto Brodel fell near the penalty area in the 73rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Juquiratiba's protests and gave Pedro Augusto Brodel a yellow card for diving instead. In the 75th minute, Claudinho Ferraz left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Juquiratiba fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. The supporters of Juquiratiba booed when Juquia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Abel Dante didn't get a good kick on the ball. 94 minutes into the match, Hélio Macedo notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of Juquiratiba's Alberto Dracena. Alberto Dracena was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
