Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Boim's Waldir Leme started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After a rather tough play, Boim's Dinei Soares got a free kick in the 9th minute. When the match had gone on for 12 minutes, Betinho Amorim put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Adolfo Galvão. Boim's Sabino Gaúcho shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 24th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Gildo Vieira but with some difficulty. Waldir Leme fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gildo Vieira having to interfere. Eugênio Cruz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Gildo Vieira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Eugênio Cruz took the ball and in the 35 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gildo Vieira. Gildo Vieira dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. Eugênio Cruz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gildo Vieira having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Eugênio Cruz got free with Gildo Vieira in the 40th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Gildo Vieira made an important save on a dangerous shot by Eugênio Cruz in the 42nd minute. Boim's Eugênio Cruz got a good chance for a goal in the 45th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 47th minute Waldir Leme shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gildo Vieira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Betinho Amorim to strike the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Betinho Amorim in the 53rd minute of play forced Boim's goalkeeper Adolfo Galvão to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gildo Vieira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eugênio Cruz in the 56th minute of play. Eugênio Cruz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Gildo Vieira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gildo Vieira didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Boim's Waldir Leme shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 3-1 in the ordered_time% minute. In the 66th minute the ball was on its way in behind Piem's goalkeeper Gildo Vieira, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The attack was good, but when Waldir Leme in the 71st minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. Waldir Leme fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gildo Vieira having to interfere. After some careless play in the Piem defense, Waldir Leme kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gildo Vieira. The Piem fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gildo Vieira should have stopped the shot. When the referee ended the match the Boim players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
