Aílton Viana received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 2nd minute. Flávio Nascimento tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Enrique Baiano charged in rather forcefully in the 6th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Enrique Baiano the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 5th minute, one of Cigano:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Cigano. The referee gave Clementino a penalty, 7 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Delfim do Vale, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Cigano's Flávio Nascimento. 1-0. When Clementino's Lucas Quintal in 11 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Flávio Nascimento guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. Flávio Nascimento took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aílton Viana, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dráuzio Coutinho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Frank Tande tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Lucas Quintal came free with the goalkeeper in the 20th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Flávio Nascimento could save by the left post. When Cigano's Dráuzio Coutinho in the 24th minute got a chance for a shot 24th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Clementino's goalie prevented a goal. Lucas Quintal struck a weak shot in the 32nd minute. Flávio Nascimento didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Clementino. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luís Fábio Recife in the 41st minute of play forced Clementino's goalkeeper Frank Tande to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Clementino's Frank Tande played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luís Fábio Recife in the 47th minute of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The wind increased when Aílton Viana made the kick off in the second half. Joélson Schmidt charged in rather forcefully in the 52nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Joélson Schmidt the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 51st minute of the game. One of Clementino:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Cigano:s goal. Dráuzio Coutinho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Frank Tande tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 61st minute Dráuzio Coutinho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Frank Tande saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Aílton Viana had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dráuzio Coutinho in the 68th minute of play forced Clementino's goalkeeper Frank Tande to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Clementino's attack was well implemented in the 72nd minute, but when Aílton Viana was about to shoot he didn't get a good hit on the ball and it hit the crossbar and flew over. Goal Kick. Dráuzio Coutinho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Frank Tande tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Luís Fábio Recife fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Frank Tande having to interfere. Frank Tande made a fantastic save in the 93rd minute, when Luís Fábio Recife sent off a good shot on target. If Luís Fábio Recife had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
