Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Cipriano Quintal started the match with the kick off. Cipriano Quintal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Paulo José Fonseca showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cipriano Quintal in the 9th minute of the match. Lumiar's Paulo José Fonseca proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 13th minute of the match, managed to save Lumiar from getting a goal against them. Roger da Mata stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of José Augusto do Vale's shot from short distance in the 14th minute. With a little luck, Lumiar's Paulo José Fonseca got control of the ball when Teodoro Peres tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Teodoro Peres came up free with the goalie in the 22nd minute, the Escrivao EC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Teodoro Peres couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by José Augusto do Vale in the 24th minute of play forced Escrivao EC's goalkeeper Roger da Mata to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Vinícius Cavalcante kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. Lumiar's Paulo José Fonseca played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cipriano Quintal in the 27th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Lumiar's Cláudio Jacinto got a free kick in the 31st minute. In the 32nd minute, Cipriano Quintal reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Paulo José Fonseca. The goal made the score 1-0. In the 37th minute, José Augusto do Vale left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Lumiar fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. If Teodoro Peres had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cipriano Quintal's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Paulo José Fonseca read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 45th minute of play. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Thomás Gerber to make the kick off. If Cipriano Quintal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Teodoro Peres in the 53rd minute of play forced Lumiar's goalkeeper Paulo José Fonseca to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Thomás Gerber in the 55th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Roger da Mata prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a defensive mix-up in Lumiar's zone, Cipriano Quintal stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Paulo José Fonseca came out of the goal and Cipriano Quintal tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Escrivao EC's Teodoro Peres got a good chance for a goal in the 59th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 60th minute of the game. One of Lumiar:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Escrivao EC:s goal. In the 68th minute, Teodoro Peres got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. José Augusto do Vale struck a weak shot in the 70th minute. Roger da Mata didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Lumiar. A collision led to Lumiar getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. José Augusto do Vale hit a great ball. Roger da Mata made an important save on a dangerous shot by José Augusto do Vale in the 76th minute. 78 minutes had been played when some careless play by Escrivao EC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Falcão Monteiro was slow to take the kick. During this time Lumiar's players had a chance to rest. 79 minutes into the match, Escrivao EC's goalkeeper Roger da Mata had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Germano Vergílio. After having played for 82 minutes, Cipriano Quintal managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Escrivao EC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cipriano Quintal was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Teodoro Peres had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 89th minute, Cipriano Quintal managed to get in a good position for a shot. Escrivao EC's supporters rose to their feet, but Cipriano Quintal was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Paulo José Fonseca breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Paulo José Fonseca showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cipriano Quintal in the 98th minute of the match. There was no doubt that Escrivao EC were the better team. Escrivao EC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
