Commandatuba SC's Walmyr Silva played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by José Vítor de Queiroz in the 38th minute of play. Nilton Duarte kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. In the 40th match minute André de Medeiros ran free in the middle of the field and shot a long shot which scored behind a totally surprised Walmyr Silva. 2-0. In the 44th minute, José Vítor de Queiroz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 46 played minutes Guaraciaba AD got a freekick which was hit by André de Medeiros.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Enéas Cunha made a kick off. Nuno Motta kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. After 60 played minutes, Commandatuba SC's Rodriguinho Fernandez shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Leonel Cordeiro came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Commandatuba SC reached it. Waldemar Teles fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Walmyr Silva having to interfere. Nilton Duarte got his second yellow card in the match during the 64th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. After 65 played minutes Commandatuba SC got a freekick which was hit by Nilton Duarte. Commandatuba SC's Walmyr Silva played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by José Vítor de Queiroz in the 71st minute of play. 74 minutes into the match, Commandatuba SC's goal looked a bit too open when José Vítor de Queiroz came free, but Walmyr Silva reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Edgard Ferraz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 90 minutes, Waldemar Teles managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Guaraciaba AD's supporters crossed their fingers, but Waldemar Teles was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. José Vítor de Queiroz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. There was no doubt that Guaraciaba AD were the better team. Guaraciaba AD's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
