Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Gugu Macedo got the match started through his kick off. Luiz Meirelles could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 5th minute of the match, but José Augusto Coutinho made a huge save. Elano Barreto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luizinho da Silveira having to interfere. When Alagacico FC's Váldson Mandrak in 12 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Luizinho da Silveira guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. When Ratos EC's Gugu Macedo in the 14th minute got a chance for a shot 14th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Alagacico FC's goalie prevented a goal. Luizinho da Silveira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Elano Barreto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Alagacico FC booed when Ratos EC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Andrézinho Hermes didn't get a good kick on the ball. 26 minutes into the match, Rafa Proença had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Luizinho da Silveira. Ratos EC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Rafa Proença was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Elano Barreto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luizinho da Silveira having to interfere. An unexpected shot in the 34th minute by Gugu Macedo got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. José Augusto Coutinho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luiz Meirelles in the 38th minute of play. In the 40th of the match, Gugu Macedo tried to place the ball in the upper right corner, but José Augusto Coutinho got in the way and made a wonderful save. When Samuca Neto fell near the penalty area in the 41st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ratos EC's protests and gave Samuca Neto a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Ratos EC's Samuca Neto got a free kick in the 41st minute. Váldson Mandrak took the ball and in the 44 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Luizinho da Silveira. Luizinho da Silveira dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Váldson Mandrak to strike the kick off in the second half. After 53 played minutes Alagacico FC got a freekick which was hit by Wilton Dracena. Elano Barreto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luizinho da Silveira having to interfere. Luiz Meirelles's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but José Augusto Coutinho read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 59th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Yan Diniz during the 65th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 70 minutes into the match, Ratos EC's goalkeeper Luizinho da Silveira had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Elano Barreto. Gugu Macedo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but José Augusto Coutinho read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 72nd minute of play. Luizinho da Silveira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Váldson Mandrak, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Váldson Mandrak in the 81st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Luizinho da Silveira prevented the ball from getting in the gole. José Augusto Coutinho showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gugu Macedo in the 83rd minute of the match. Váldson Mandrak sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Luiz Meirelles received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. José Augusto Coutinho tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Váldson Mandrak recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 100th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Alagacico FC played a much better game than Ratos EC and deserved their victory. The Ratos EC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
