Davi Arruda showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kléberson de Azevedo in the 15th minute of the match. João Francisco Valadares received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Clemente Sena tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cássio Moura in the 24th minute of play forced Manituba's goalkeeper Clemente Sena to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Davi Arruda showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alfredinho Félix in the 32nd minute of the match. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The wind increased when Cássio Moura made the kick off in the second half. Kléberson de Azevedo in the 52ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Davi Arruda, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Clemente Sena showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cássio Moura in the 57th minute of the match. After 70 played minutes Manituba got a freekick which was hit by André Paraibano. 75 minutes into the game, one of Manituba:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The supporters of Barbalha SC booed when Manituba was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kiko Toscano didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 78th minute of the match Murillo Urbano sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Clemente Sena skillfully saved the ball. In the 78th match minute, Barbalha SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Raúl Secco to maneuver through the defense. Cássio Moura received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Clemente Sena tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 87th minute, Manituba's Romário dos Santos seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Romário dos Santos the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Manituba protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Romário dos Santos had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In the 87th minute, one of Manituba:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Manituba. The referee gave Barbalha SC a penalty, 90 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Murillo Urbano, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Manituba's Clemente Sena. 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by João Francisco Valadares in the 99th minute of play forced Manituba's goalkeeper Clemente Sena to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Manituba's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
