Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) In the 9th minute, João Francisco Valadares got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. João Francisco Valadares received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Paulo José Soeiro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 17thth minute of the game Cássio Moura who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Guassi AD's Paulo José Soeiro was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 20 minutes into the match, Barbalha SC's goalkeeper Davi Arruda had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Claudinho Fonseca. Davi Arruda made an important save on a dangerous shot by Claudinho Fonseca in the 22nd minute. In the 28th minute, Claudinho Fonseca ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Davi Arruda was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. In the 32nd minute, Guassi AD's Dinei Paranaense seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Dinei Paranaense the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Guassi AD protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Dinei Paranaense had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 32nd minute of the game. One of Guassi AD:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Barbalha SC:s goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Claudinho Fonseca got free with Davi Arruda in the 36th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Claudinho Fonseca's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Davi Arruda read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 38th minute of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Cássio Moura to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 51st match minute, Guassi AD was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dráuzio Vinhas to maneuver through the defense. 53 minutes into the match, Guassi AD's goalkeeper Paulo José Soeiro had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by João Francisco Valadares. João Francisco Valadares recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Paulo José Soeiro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from William Saraiva, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers William Saraiva in the 72nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Paulo José Soeiro saved Guassi AD from getting behind. Breno Pires's late challenge caught a Barbalha SC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Breno Pires helped the player get up and apologised. In the 75th minute of the match Murillo Urbano shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Paulo José Soeiro showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. João Francisco Valadares could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 83rd minute of the match, but Paulo José Soeiro made a huge save. João Francisco Valadares recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 85th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Claudinho Fonseca sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 92 played minutes Guassi AD got a freekick which was hit by Paulo José Cearense. In the 94th minute of the match Murillo Urbano sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Paulo José Soeiro skillfully saved the ball. For all the effort they put into the match, the Barbalha SC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Guassi AD.
