If Emanuel Palmeira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Wilian Linhares struck a weak shot in the 19th minute. Wiliam Monteiro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bitencurt. Ian Torres might have been able to make a better finish in the 22nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Laércio Gaúcho. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ian Torres ran back to his position shaking his head. After 22 minutes of play, Tambahu SC's Emanuel Palmeira made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Laércio Gaúcho was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 35 minutes of play, Bitencurt's Enrique Seco made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. In the 40thth minute of the game Ian Torres who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Bitencurt's Laércio Gaúcho was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Ian Torres recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 45 minutes into the match, Tambahu SC's Emanuel Palmeira sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Laércio Gaúcho narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Percival Travassos kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. If Wilian Linhares had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half.
