Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Edmundo Mello made the kick off which started today's match. Joel Rezende hit a great freekick 2 minutes into the match. Enrique Moreira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eriberto Bezerra, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Romário de Amaral during the 10th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 10 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Amaropolis! Juarês Messias fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Enrique Moreira having to interfere. When Giovani Lima came up free with the goalie in the 16th minute, the Epigua FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Giovani Lima couldn't finish the play. In the 18thth minute of the game Edmundo Mello who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Epigua FC's Nildo Vianna was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Giovani Lima received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Enrique Moreira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Flávio Paraibano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nildo Vianna having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Juarês Messias in the 31st minute of play forced Amaropolis's goalkeeper Enrique Moreira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Juarês Messias had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nildo Vianna showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edmundo Mello, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. Severino Silva hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Giovani Lima's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Enrique Moreira read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 57th minute of play. In the 62nd match minute, Epigua FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Túlio Freitas to maneuver through the defense. Joel Rezende received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Nildo Vianna tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 75 minutes, Flávio Paraibano put it in 2-1 from a short distance just to the right of Nildo Vianna. 79 minutes into the match, Flávio Paraibano notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of Epigua FC's Nildo Vianna. Nildo Vianna was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 83 minutes of play, Amaropolis's Edmundo Mello made it 4-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Nildo Vianna was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Edmundo Mello had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Edmundo Mello struck a weak shot in the 91st minute. Nildo Vianna didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Amaropolis. Eriberto Bezerra kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. Nildo Vianna showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edmundo Mello in the 97th minute of the match. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Amaropolis fully deserved thier win.
