Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Mandihy EC's Waldemar Cruz started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 4th minute, Marquinhos Ferreira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 12th minute Flávio Paraibano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Celsinho Sarmento saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Júnior Queirós kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. Enrique Moreira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Waldemar Cruz in the 20th minute of the match. In the 22nd minute, Flávio Paraibano made a precise shot to the right of Celsinho Sarmento. Mandihy EC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. When Waldemar Cruz came up free with the goalie in the 26th minute, the Mandihy EC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Waldemar Cruz couldn't finish the play. Flávio Paraibano's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Celsinho Sarmento read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 30th minute of play. If Edmundo Mello had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jeferson Madureira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Enrique Moreira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Enrique Moreira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Waldemar Cruz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 37th minute, Joel Rezende hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 38th minute, Waldemar Cruz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 40 played minutes Amaropolis got a freekick which was hit by Hélder de Almeida. Jeferson Madureira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Enrique Moreira having to interfere. Edmundo Mello's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Celsinho Sarmento read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 43rd minute of play. Flávio Paraibano recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 47th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Edmundo Mello made a kick off. Mandihy EC's Jeferson Madureira got a good chance for a goal in the 53rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Jeferson Madureira's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Enrique Moreira was relentless in the 56th minute of the game. The supporters of Mandihy EC booed when Amaropolis was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Joel Rezende didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jeferson Madureira in the 58th minute of play forced Amaropolis's goalkeeper Enrique Moreira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Mandihy EC booed when Amaropolis was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Virgílio Trigo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Pedro Luiz Sena recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 63rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jeferson Madureira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 79th minute, Waldemar Cruz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mandihy EC's supporters rose to their feet, but Waldemar Cruz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Enrique Moreira breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 81st minute Edmundo Mello shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Celsinho Sarmento saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Edmundo Mello might have been able to make a better finish in the 85th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Celsinho Sarmento. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Edmundo Mello ran back to his position shaking his head. When Amaropolis's Edmundo Mello in the 88th minute got a chance for a shot 88th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Mandihy EC's goalie prevented a goal. Júnior Queirós kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. After 92 played minutes Amaropolis got a freekick which was hit by Edmundo Mello. Kauã Valladares hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. The Mandihy EC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Amaropolis's performance. The match ended with a win for Amaropolis.
