Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Américo Fernandes started the match with the kick off. Pachecos's João Vítor Mello played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vânderson Guerra in the 5th minute of play. Albertino Faria could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 15th minute of the match, but João Vítor Mello made a huge save. Vânderson Guerra received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. João Vítor Mello tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. João Vítor Mello came out of the goal in the 21st minute to try and stop a shot by Juripiranga's Albertino Faria. But to his dismay, Albertino Faria quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Albertino Faria fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without João Vítor Mello having to interfere. Maurinho Galvão sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Américo Fernandes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Maurinho Galvão had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 39th minute Vânderson Guerra shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but João Vítor Mello saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Juripiranga's Vânderson Guerra got a free kick in the 40th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by José Maria Cruz during the 43rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 43rd match minute, Juripiranga was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by José Maria Cruz to maneuver through the defense. It was beautiful to see Pachecos's Frank Santos in action when he in the 45th minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! Lenílson Loyola's late challenge caught a Juripiranga's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Lenílson Loyola helped the player get up and apologised. In the 48th minute, Lenílson Loyola hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Vânderson Guerra to make the kick off. Pachecos's João Vítor Mello played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pedro Augusto Zonta in the 53rd minute of play. Eliseu Hermes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Américo Fernandes in the 67th minute of play. In the 68th minute, Albertino Faria made a precise shot to the right of João Vítor Mello. Pachecos's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. João Vítor Mello took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vânderson Guerra, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Maurinho Galvão took the ball and in the 80 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Eliseu Hermes. Eliseu Hermes dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. Américo Fernandes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Eliseu Hermes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Pachecos booed when Juripiranga was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Durvalino Ramos didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Juripiranga's Murillo Mota got a free kick in the 91st minute. When Albertino Faria came up free with the goalie in the 98th minute, the Juripiranga fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Albertino Faria couldn't finish the play. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Pachecos eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
