Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Adhemar Linares started the match with the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Apinaje's zone, Zé Roberto Mangueira stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Joel Silva came out of the goal and Zé Roberto Mangueira tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Joel Silva made a fantastic save in the 7th minute, when Renan Mendonça sent off a good shot on target. When Apinaje's Adhemar Linares, in the 9th minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Apinaje. After 23 played minutes Apinaje got a freekick which was hit by Júlio Medeiros. Joel Silva made a fantastic save in the 24th minute, when Gláuber Valadares sent off a good shot on target. In the 26th minute Tuiuti were awarded a corner. Deivid Cordeiro went to the cornerflag to take it. André da Mata fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Conrado Lima having to interfere. Conrado Lima stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Adhemar Linares's shot from short distance in the 35th minute. In the 38th minute Adhemar Linares shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Conrado Lima saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 42nd minute, Adhemar Linares made a precise shot to the right of Conrado Lima. Tuiuti's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. The Apinaje fans' excitement grew in the 49th match minute when Apinaje's André da Mata looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After the first half Apinaje were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Gláuber Valadares made the kick off in the second half. In the 59th minute the ball was on its way in behind Tuiuti's goalkeeper Conrado Lima, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 60 minutes into the game, Adhemar Linares lined in a short shot 0-3 behind a frustrated Conrado Lima. Conrado Lima made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adhemar Linares in the 67th minute of play. After 68 played minutes Tuiuti got a freekick which was hit by Bruno Abraão. With an all-out effort, Apinaje's Conrado Lima threw himself towards the right post 78 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Adhemar Linares, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. A collision led to Tuiuti getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Bruno Abraão hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when André da Mata got free with Conrado Lima in the 81st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. André da Mata fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Conrado Lima having to interfere. Tuiuti's Conrado Lima played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adhemar Linares in the 87th minute of play. André da Mata struck a weak shot in the 93rd minute. Conrado Lima didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Apinaje. With his leg Conrado Lima managed to avoid a goal in the 94thth minute, when Apinaje's André da Mata fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The supporters of Tuiuti booed when Apinaje was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 97 match minutes in a wonderful position. Júlio Medeiros didn't get a good kick on the ball. A hard shot 99 in the game by André da Mata from a close distance when the talented Conrado Lima managed to make a qualified save. Tuiuti's players were relieved. Apinaje played a much better game than Tuiuti and deserved their victory. The Tuiuti players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
