An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcel de Medeiros in the 34th minute of play forced Urubici's goalkeeper Moisés Pimenta to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rubinho Freires short, quick shot in the 35thth minute got Marcelo Peixoto to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Marcelo Peixoto stood somewhat misplaced when Pedro Paulo Chaves came free in front of goal and shot 1-1 to the left of him in the 37 minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Pedro Paulo Chaves in the 42nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Marcelo Peixoto saved Lacre AD from getting behind. Reinaldo Varela fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Moisés Pimenta having to interfere. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Pedro Paulo Chaves was the one to do the kick off. 54 minutes into the match, Rubinho Freire had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Marcelo Peixoto. Lacre AD's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Rubinho Freire was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. After a rather tough play, Lacre AD's Marcel de Medeiros got a free kick in the 59th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 62nd minute, Marcel de Medeiros managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lacre AD's supporters rose to their feet, but Marcel de Medeiros was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Moisés Pimenta breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Lacre AD's Marcel de Medeiros got a good chance for a goal in the 64th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After having played for 66 minutes, Marcel de Medeiros managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lacre AD's supporters crossed their fingers, but Marcel de Medeiros was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Reinaldo Varela came up free with the goalie in the 68th minute, the Lacre AD fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Reinaldo Varela couldn't finish the play. With a little luck, Urubici's Moisés Pimenta got control of the ball when Reinaldo Varela tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpected shot in the 73rd minute by Reinaldo Varela got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rubinho Freire in the 75th minute of play forced Lacre AD's goalkeeper Marcelo Peixoto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Reinaldo Varela scored 2-2 in the 77th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Moisés Pimenta, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Reinaldo Varela had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Pedro Paulo Chaves sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Reinaldo Varela received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Moisés Pimenta tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Lacre AD's Marcel de Medeiros was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 90th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Urubici's Rubinho Freire got a good chance for a goal in the 96th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The Urubici supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Lacre AD's performance. The match ended with a win for Lacre AD.
