Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Paulo José Moreira got the match started through his kick off. In the 5th minute Vicente Schmidt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ian Catarinense saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 6 minutes, Paulo Trancoso managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mingau AD's supporters crossed their fingers, but Paulo Trancoso was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 8th minute, Vicente Schmidt made a precise shot to the right of Ian Catarinense. Piranhas SS's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Piranhas SS's Ian Catarinense played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Paulo Trancoso in the 13th minute of play. 14 minutes into the match, Piranhas SS's goal looked a bit too open when Paulo Trancoso came free, but Ian Catarinense reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, Mingau AD's Hélder Paiva got control of the ball when Paulo Faustino tried to sneak it across the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Paulo José Moreira in the 22nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Hélder Paiva prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Paulo Faustino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Hélder Paiva tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Mingau AD's zone, Paulo José Moreira stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hélder Paiva came out of the goal and Paulo José Moreira tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Mingau AD's defense didn't have a chance, in the 28th minute, when Paulo José Moreira scored to the left of an out of position Hélder Paiva, making the score, 2-1. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Leandro Melo during the 32nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Mingau AD's Leandro Melo got a free kick in the 32nd minute. In the 35th minute, Vicente Schmidt ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ian Catarinense was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. During the 39th minute of the match Leandro Melo completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Leandro Melo a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. In the 43rd match minute, Piranhas SS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Humberto Coelho to maneuver through the defense. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 2-2 after a close first half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Paulo Trancoso stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Mingau AD's Hélder Paiva played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Paulo José Moreira in the 61st minute of play. 67 minutes into the match, Piranhas SS's Paulo Faustino sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Hélder Paiva narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Hélder Paiva took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Paulo Faustino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Paulo José Moreira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Pedrinho da Rocha kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Ian Catarinense. That made the score 2-3 in the 85 minute of play. Vicente Schmidt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ian Catarinense having to interfere. Paulo José Moreira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Paulo Trancoso scored 2-4 in the 95th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ian Catarinense, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When the final whistle sounded Mingau AD left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Piranhas SS.
