He walked away shaking his head. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Vito Linhares in the 47th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Valério Monteiro prevented the ball from getting in the gole.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Vito Linhares made a kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Leonel de Godoy in the 52nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gustavo Marinho saved Pitombeiras SS from getting behind. Osmar Goiano could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 54th minute of the match, but Valério Monteiro made a huge save. 56 minutes into the match, Pitombeiras SS's goal looked a bit too open when Kauan Carioca came free, but Gustavo Marinho reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Pitombeiras SS were awarded a corner in the 62th minute after Painel AD's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Hermínio Lima took the corner. After taking down the ball on Pitombeiras SS's corner Hermínio Lima fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Valério Monteiro quite easily take care of the ball. Pitombeiras SS's Vito Linhares got a good chance for a goal in the 64th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
