Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Vito Linhares started the match with the kick off. Vito Linhares received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Hélder Paiva tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Leandro Melo hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. Vito Linhares had several of the Mingau AD's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 15 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-0 score and a disappointed Hélder Paiva as he didn't even see the shot coming. Hélder Paiva took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Osmar Goiano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sérgio Trancoso hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. Gustavo Marinho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Paulo Trancoso in the 30th minute of play. In the 31st minute Vicente Schmidt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gustavo Marinho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gustavo Marinho stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Paulo Trancoso's shot from short distance in the 35th minute. Sérgio Trancoso charged in rather forcefully in the 36th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Sérgio Trancoso the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Sérgio Trancoso hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. If Vicente Schmidt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gustavo Marinho showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Paulo Trancoso, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. 43 minutes into the match, Pitombeiras SS's goal looked a bit too open when Vicente Schmidt came free, but Gustavo Marinho reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

Osmar Goiano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hélder Paiva having to interfere. Thanks to some nice moves Paulo Trancoso could shoot a difficult shot in the 59th minute, which Gustavo Marinho however easily saved by the left post. Mingau AD's Vicente Schmidt got a good chance for a goal in the 84th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Sérgio Trancoso hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. 87 minutes into the match, Mingau AD's Iuri Melo broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Pitombeiras SS fans cheered their team off the field, for while Mingau AD had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
