Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Cevadongo SS's Mateus Chaves started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After a defensive mix-up in Cevadongo SS's zone, Frédson Novaes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Isaltino de Brito came out of the goal and Frédson Novaes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Isaltino de Brito came out of the goal in the 4th minute to try and stop a shot by Canasvieiras's Ademar Gaspar. But to his dismay, Ademar Gaspar quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Ademar Gaspar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Isaltino de Brito having to interfere. Gabriel Vidal in the 11thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Cléberson Alves, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. When João Vítor Torres fell near the penalty area in the 13th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cevadongo SS's protests and gave João Vítor Torres a yellow card for diving instead. Cléberson Alves made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gabriel Vidal in the 17th minute. 26 minutes into the match, Canasvieiras's Ademar Gaspar sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Isaltino de Brito narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Nelson de Sena hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. 28 minutes into the game, Ademar Gaspar cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Isaltino de Brito was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 32 minutes into the match, Cevadongo SS's goal looked a bit too open when Ademar Gaspar came free, but Isaltino de Brito reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cevadongo SS's Isaltino de Brito played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ademar Gaspar in the 38th minute of play. When João Vítor Torres was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 39 minutes had been played. The supporters of Cevadongo SS booed when Canasvieiras was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Belchior Miranda didn't get a good kick on the ball. Zé Roberto Quaresma shot from long distance in the 46th minute, but Cléberson Alves was prepared and stopped the ball at the left post. If Gabriel Vidal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ademar Gaspar to strike the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nelson de Sena in the 51st minute of play forced Canasvieiras's goalkeeper Cléberson Alves to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ademar Gaspar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Isaltino de Brito having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Canasvieiras's zone, Mateus Chaves stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cléberson Alves came out of the goal and Mateus Chaves tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 64 played minutes Canasvieiras got a freekick which was hit by Frédson Novaes. 65 minutes into the game, one of Canasvieiras:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 67th minute there was a penalty for Cevadongo SS. Zé Roberto Quaresma stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Cléberson Alves. 2-2. In the 71st minute, Gabriel Vidal got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ademar Gaspar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 80th minute, Vítor Proença hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Mateus Chaves during the 86th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 90th minute, Cevadongo SS's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Ademar Gaspar fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Gabriel Vidal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cléberson Alves having to interfere. Mateus Chaves fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 98th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cléberson Alves having to interfere.
