The supporters of Colectoria booed when Ururahy EC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hélio Paranaense didn't get a good kick on the ball. 18 minutes into the game, Ururahy EC's Laércio Cearense nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Enio Peixoto made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. 22 minutes into the match, Décio Guedes had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Elder Vasconcelos. Ururahy EC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Décio Guedes was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Erivaldo Santos hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. In the 27th minute of the match, Joel Soares tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Enio Peixoto saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. With 36 minutes on the clock, Fiori Pena commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 36th minute of the game. One of Colectoria:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Ururahy EC:s goal. In the 38th minute there was a penalty for Ururahy EC. Joaquim Simões stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Enio Peixoto. 2-1. Joel Soares recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 47 minutes, Dé Miranda mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ururahy EC and the Colectoria players grew even worse after the yellow card. Dé Miranda kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match.

The wind increased when Décio Guedes made the kick off in the second half. A hard shot 55 in the game by Décio Guedes from a close distance when the talented Elder Vasconcelos managed to make a qualified save. Ururahy EC's players were relieved. Décio Guedes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Joel Soares in the 64th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Enio Peixoto prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Joel Soares had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Augusto Catarinense could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 71st minute of the match, but Elder Vasconcelos made a huge save. Christian Vander hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 77th minute, Tostão Mota managed to get in a good position for a shot. Colectoria's supporters rose to their feet, but Tostão Mota was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Elder Vasconcelos breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Augusto Catarinense fell near the penalty area in the 78th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Colectoria's protests and gave Augusto Catarinense a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Colectoria's Augusto Catarinense got a free kick in the 79th minute. After recieving a nice pass, Ururahy EC's Joaquim Simões tried to score from far away in the 80th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. In the 84th minute, Tostão Mota got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ururahy EC's Elder Vasconcelos proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 86th minute of the match, managed to save Ururahy EC from getting a goal against them. 91 minutes into the match, Colectoria's goal looked a bit too open when Joel Soares came free, but Enio Peixoto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Décio Guedes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Elder Vasconcelos having to interfere. For all the effort they put into the match, the Colectoria players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Ururahy EC.
