When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Geraldo Teixeira made a kick off. Zé Roberto Pinho's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Joel Branco read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 54th minute of play. Zé Roberto Pinho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Joel Branco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 70th minute Geraldo Teixeira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joel Branco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 80th minute, Geraldo Teixeira fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. With an all-out effort, Titaras AD's Joel Branco threw himself towards the right post 85 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Geraldo Teixeira, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. A collision led to Paranaguacu AD getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Waldemar Mattos hit a great ball. Geraldo Teixeira received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Joel Branco came out and tried to block the shot, but Geraldo Teixeira slotted it home off the left post making it 0-2 in the 95th minute. The Paranaguacu AD fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Titaras AD were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
