Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Tomé Linhares made the kick off and thus started the match. Dráuzio Quaresma received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. Gabriel Esteves tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hortêncio Paes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Basílio Dias in the 8th minute of play. Hortêncio Paes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Basílio Dias, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Mocambo SS's zone, Basílio Dias stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hortêncio Paes came out of the goal and Basílio Dias tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Dráuzio Quaresma scored 1-0 in the 23rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gabriel Esteves, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Mocambo SS's Hortêncio Paes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dinei Paiva in the 26th minute of play. Evaristo do Vale's late challenge caught a Mocambo SS's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Evaristo do Vale helped the player get up and apologised. In the 31st match minute, Matapiquara was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Evaristo do Vale to maneuver through the defense. Gabriel Esteves made a fantastic save in the 33rd minute, when Dráuzio Quaresma sent off a good shot on target. After a rather tough play, Mocambo SS's Hernani Tinoco got a free kick in the 35th minute. In the 36th minute, Basílio Dias got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Dinei Paiva came up free with the goalie in the 46th minute, the Matapiquara fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dinei Paiva couldn't finish the play.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Dinei Paiva made a kick off. Basílio Dias could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 52nd minute of the match, but Hortêncio Paes made a huge save. In the 54th minute Dinei Paiva shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hortêncio Paes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Basílio Dias's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Hortêncio Paes read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 57th minute of play. Gabriel Esteves came out of the goal in the 68th minute to try and stop a shot by Mocambo SS's Romário Cardoso. But to his dismay, Romário Cardoso quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. In the 71st match minute, Mocambo SS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Romário Cardoso to maneuver through the defense. In the 76th minute, Matapiquara's Dinei Paiva dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-1. Gabriel Esteves showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dráuzio Quaresma in the 80th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Matapiquara defense, Tomé Linhares kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gabriel Esteves. The Matapiquara fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gabriel Esteves should have stopped the shot. Mocambo SS's Dráuzio Quaresma got a good chance for a goal in the 96th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
