Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Christian Tavares showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Raúl Velasco, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. Raúl Velasco recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 10th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Carananduba booed when Jucurutu SS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tiaguinho Saraiva didn't get a good kick on the ball. 18 minutes into the match, Jucurutu SS's Jonathan Araújo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Christian Tavares narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Joel da Silva made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pedrinho Tróia in the 25th minute of play. 28 minutes into the match, Vivaldo Breckenfeld had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Joel da Silva. Jucurutu SS's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Vivaldo Breckenfeld was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. In the 32nd minute, Vivaldo Breckenfeld got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Thanks to some nice moves Jonathan Araújo could shoot a difficult shot in the 33rd minute, which Christian Tavares however easily saved by the left post. After 47 minutes of play, Carananduba's Pedrinho Tróia made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Joel da Silva was left in no man's land by his defense there! After the first half Carananduba were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Pedrinho Tróia was the one to do the kick off. After 53 minutes, Tibúrcio Carneiro mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Jucurutu SS and the Carananduba players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Jucurutu SS's Tibúrcio Carneiro got a free kick in the 53rd minute. Christian Tavares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jonathan Araújo in the 63rd minute of play. Joel da Silva made an important save on a dangerous shot by Vivaldo Breckenfeld in the 65th minute. Nilmar Barreto hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. Vivaldo Breckenfeld sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Raúl Velasco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Christian Tavares tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 77th minute Raúl Velasco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Christian Tavares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jucurutu SS were awarded a corner in the 79th minute after Carananduba's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Henrique Alcântara took the corner. The corner led Jucurutu SS's Henrique Alcântara to fire away a dangerous shot which Christian Tavares despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Raúl Velasco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hamílton Trigo's late challenge caught a Jucurutu SS's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Hamílton Trigo helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Jucurutu SS booed when Carananduba was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 97 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hamílton Trigo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Raúl Velasco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 98th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Carananduba had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
