Paulão das Neves could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 3rd minute of the match, but Joel da Silva made a huge save. Gernando Quintal didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Raúl Velasco went, in the 5th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. In the 13thth minute of the game Jonathan Araújo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Estremoz's Gernando Quintal was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. José Pedro Maciel who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 17thth minute tested the skills of Joel da Silva when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 19th minute, Paulão das Neves ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Joel da Silva was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. In the 23rd minute, Ulisses da Cunha made a precise shot to the right of Joel da Silva. Jucurutu SS's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. In the 30th minute, Henrique Alcântara hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ulisses da Cunha received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Joel da Silva tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 36 minutes of play, Estremoz's Paulão das Neves made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. In the 43rd match minute, Jucurutu SS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Henrique Alcântara to maneuver through the defense. The long shot by Roberto de Mendonça in the 44th minute really tested Joel da Silva's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ulisses da Cunha in the 45th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Joel da Silva prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Estremoz's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Roberto de Mendonça in the 48th minute. Roberto de Mendonça made a great header on Estremoz's corner, it was just that Jucurutu SS's Joel da Silva managed to reach the ball for a save. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ulisses da Cunha made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ulisses da Cunha in the 53rd minute of play forced Jucurutu SS's goalkeeper Joel da Silva to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Zé Roberto Cardoso's late challenge caught a Jucurutu SS's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Joel da Silva showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Paulão das Neves in the 88th minute of the match. The Estremoz fans cheered their team off the field, for while Jucurutu SS had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
