Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Amadeu Corrêa started the match with the kick off. After a rather tough play, Jucurutu SS's Nilmar Barreto got a free kick in the 13th minute. Joel da Silva showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Douglas Cardoso, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. Alex Mendonça hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. After having played for 18 minutes, Raúl Velasco managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Jucurutu SS's supporters crossed their fingers, but Raúl Velasco was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 22nd minute, Raúl Velasco got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Douglas Cardoso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Joel da Silva tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 29th minute, Raúl Velasco fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Gilvan Ramalho, passed just outside the right post. If Douglas Cardoso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 37th minute, Jonas do Nascimento hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 40th minute, Raúl Velasco got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 41 played minutes Capunga got a freekick which was hit by Vânderson Novaes. Jonathan Araújo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Amadeu Corrêa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Raúl Velasco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Raúl Velasco to strike the kick off in the second half. If Amadeu Corrêa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Joel da Silva made an important save on a dangerous shot by Vânderson Novaes in the 58th minute. Vicente Guedes charged in rather forcefully in the 60th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Vicente Guedes the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 61 played minutes Jucurutu SS got a freekick which was hit by Vicente Guedes. 65 minutes into the game, Capunga's Douglas Cardoso nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Joel da Silva made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Amadeu Corrêa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. In the 74th minute, Douglas Cardoso got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Jonathan Araújo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gilvan Ramalho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Raúl Velasco in the 86th minute of play. In the 90th minute Amadeu Corrêa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joel da Silva saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Joel da Silva made a fantastic save in the 93rd minute, when Douglas Cardoso sent off a good shot on target. Capunga's Douglas Cardoso got a good chance for a goal in the 96th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
