Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Nelson Palmeira kicked off to start the match. 3 minutes into the match, Janari's goal looked a bit too open when Cícero Dias came free, but Hélder Linares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Otávio Batista got free with Carlos Fernando de Lara in the 5th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Cícero Dias came up free with the goalie in the 15th minute, the Ubari AD fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cícero Dias couldn't finish the play. 17 minutes into the match, Janari's goal looked a bit too open when Nelson Palmeira came free, but Hélder Linares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Otávio Batista received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Carlos Fernando de Lara tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Otávio Batista's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Carlos Fernando de Lara read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 23rd minute of play. The supporters of Ubari AD booed when Janari was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Chicão Montenegro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Hélder Linares showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cícero Dias in the 33rd minute of the match. After 34 played minutes Ubari AD got a freekick which was hit by Romário Barbosa. When Víktor Souza fell near the penalty area in the 38th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Janari's protests and gave Víktor Souza a yellow card for diving instead. In the 38th minute, Víktor Souza hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 40 played minutes, Ubari AD's Durval Montenegro shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Hélder Linares came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Ubari AD reached it. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Rafa de Amorim to strike the kick off in the second half. Dário Fernandes's late challenge caught a Ubari AD's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Dário Fernandes helped the player get up and apologised. In the 54th match minute, Janari was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dário Fernandes to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Janari's zone, Nelson Palmeira stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hélder Linares came out of the goal and Nelson Palmeira tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Hélder Linares showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nelson Palmeira in the 59th minute of the match. Cícero Dias came free with the goalkeeper in the 62nd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Hélder Linares could save by the left post. Cícero Dias received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Hélder Linares tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 69th minute, Rafa de Amorim managed to get in a good position for a shot. Janari's supporters rose to their feet, but Rafa de Amorim was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Carlos Fernando de Lara breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 70 minutes into the match, Janari's goalkeeper Hélder Linares had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cícero Dias. Janari's Otávio Batista got a good chance for a goal in the 74th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Alessandro Tavares hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. Carlos Fernando de Lara took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Otávio Batista, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Otávio Batista in the 78th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Carlos Fernando de Lara prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ubari AD's Carlos Fernando de Lara played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Otávio Batista in the 82nd minute of play. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
