Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Moisés Barros got the match started through his kick off. 2 minutes into the game, Adelino Coutinho was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Carvoalzinho SS's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Candoi the free kick. A collision led to Carvoalzinho SS getting a freekick after 2 minutes play. Adelino Coutinho hit a great ball. During the 5th minute of the match Adelino Coutinho completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Adelino Coutinho a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. The crowd rose to their feet as Hamílton Dantas kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Luiz Prata. That made the score 1-0 in the 6 minute of play. Pedro Paulo Fernandes blasted a shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Sílvio Hames having to make a save. Pedro Paulo Fernandes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 15th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Carvoalzinho SS booed when Candoi was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dionísio da Cunha didn't get a good kick on the ball. Carvoalzinho SS's Pedro Paulo Fernandes got a good chance for a goal in the 30th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Hamílton Dantas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Luiz Prata tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 34 played minutes Carvoalzinho SS got a freekick which was hit by Alfredão Moura. After some fancy dribbling in the 36th minute, Reginaldo Paraense managed to get in a good position for a shot. Candoi's supporters rose to their feet, but Reginaldo Paraense was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Luiz Prata breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Hamílton Dantas in the 38th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Luiz Prata prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Flávio Carneiro struck a weak shot in the 40th minute. Luiz Prata didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Candoi. After 47 minutes, Aleandro Sampaio mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Carvoalzinho SS and the Candoi players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 47 played minutes Carvoalzinho SS got a freekick which was hit by Aleandro Sampaio. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Hamílton Dantas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Pedro Paulo Fernandes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Sílvio Hames tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dudu Rodrigues hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. The audience was convinced that Hamílton Dantas's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Luiz Prata was relentless in the 68th minute of the game. Giovani Arósio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 72nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Moisés Barros's late challenge caught a Candoi's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Moisés Barros helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Carvoalzinho SS's Moisés Barros got a free kick in the 77th minute. Flávio Carneiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luiz Prata having to interfere. Luiz Prata made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Flávio Carneiro in the 82nd minute of play. If Hamílton Dantas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Aírton Catarinense hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Flávio Carneiro in the 94th minute of play forced Carvoalzinho SS's goalkeeper Luiz Prata to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Luiz Prata stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Hamílton Dantas's shot from short distance in the 96th minute. Candoi's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
