Maringa's Arthur Mumbach played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomé Macedo in the 94th minute of play. Amadeu Coelho struck a weak shot in the 96th minute. Luisinho Carioca didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Maringa. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Sidrolandia had won after a very even match.
