Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) In the 4th minute Fabrício Lira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arthur Mumbach saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fabrício Lira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arthur Mumbach having to interfere. Fabrício Lira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Maringa's Juninho Mangueira got a free kick in the 16th minute. In the 17thth minute of the game Dalmo Vale who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Maringa's Arthur Mumbach was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 22nd minute, Fabrício Lira managed to get in a good position for a shot. Meoas's supporters rose to their feet, but Fabrício Lira was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Arthur Mumbach breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 28 minutes into the match, Meoas's goalkeeper Duarte de Lara had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Amadeu Coelho. After 31 played minutes Maringa got a freekick which was hit by Dalmo Tróia. Giuseppe Guimarães kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. Dalmo Vale struck a weak shot in the 42nd minute. Arthur Mumbach didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Meoas. In the 43rd minute Luizinho Meirelles collided with an opponent which caused him a fractured collar bone. When Juninho Mangueira fell near the penalty area in the 43rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Maringa's protests and gave Juninho Mangueira a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Meoas booed when Maringa was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Juninho Mangueira didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dalmo Vale fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arthur Mumbach having to interfere. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Arthur Mumbach made a fantastic save in the 56th minute, when Dalmo Vale sent off a good shot on target. The audience thought a goal was coming when Dalmo Vale got free with Arthur Mumbach in the 59th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Meoas's Christiano Couto couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 61st minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Maringa. In the 63rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Maringa's goalkeeper Arthur Mumbach, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Dalmo Vale could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 65th minute of the match, but Arthur Mumbach made a huge save. 66 minutes in the game, Dalmo Vale fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Arthur Mumbach having to interfere. Dalmo Vale sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ademar Jacinto recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 74th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Giuseppe Guimarães fell near the penalty area in the 74th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. Luciano Lucas blasted a shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Arthur Mumbach having to make a save. The Maringa fans' excitement grew in the 86th match minute when Maringa's Amadeu Coelho looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. If Dalmo Vale had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 99th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Maringa players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
