With an all-out effort, Viracao SS's Cido Paulista threw himself towards the right post 4 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Marcinho Neves, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 5th minute of the match, Pedro Augusto Motta got a very nice opportunity to score, but Cido Paulista was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Thanks to some nice moves Pedro Augusto Motta could shoot a difficult shot in the 7th minute, which Cido Paulista however easily saved by the left post. Remo Toledo struck a weak shot in the 9th minute. José Paulo da Cunha didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Alpestre SS. In the 10th minute Antônio Carlos Diniz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but José Paulo da Cunha saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 30 played minutes Viracao SS got a freekick which was hit by Chiquinho de Azevedo. A hard shot by Raimundo Amorim from long distance, 33 minutes into the match, got Cido Paulista's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Marcinho Neves fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cido Paulista having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Viracao SS's Chiquinho de Azevedo got a free kick in the 39th minute. After 43 played minutes Viracao SS got a freekick which was hit by Marcinho Neves. João Vítor Vieira was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 43rd played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Pedro Augusto Motta made a kick off. José Paulo da Cunha didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 51st minute, which inside left pole to 0-1. The Alpestre SS players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Viracao SS from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
