Wilson Barreto was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 9th minute. Remanso's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Washington Garcia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Acácio da Silva, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Acácio da Silva came up free with the goalie in the 12th minute, the Remanso fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Acácio da Silva couldn't finish the play. With a little luck, Guerem's Washington Garcia got control of the ball when Wilson Barreto tried to sneak it across the goal line. Lucas Tepedino made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emerson de Lara in the 24th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Guerem's Giovanni Mumbach got a free kick in the 29th minute. Acácio da Silva received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Washington Garcia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 32nd minute, Guerem's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Wilson Barreto fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Acácio da Silva fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Washington Garcia having to interfere. Betão Oliveira kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. If Acácio da Silva had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Wilson Barreto succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-2 in the 42nd playminute. Wilson Barreto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Washington Garcia having to interfere. The Remanso players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Guerem were winning 1-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Emerson de Lara to strike the kick off in the second half. Washington Garcia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Acácio da Silva, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. Lucas Tepedino took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Emerson de Lara, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Guerem getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Emerson de Lara hit a great ball. In the 65th minute, Danilo Pena hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Kauan Reis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lucas Tepedino having to interfere. Emerson de Lara received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Lucas Tepedino tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Wilson Barreto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience was convinced that Acácio da Silva's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Washington Garcia was relentless in the 74th minute of the game. In the 75th minute of the match Gustavo de Almeida shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Washington Garcia showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Guerem's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-3. 82 minutes into the match, Guerem's goal looked a bit too open when Carlinhos Faria came free, but Washington Garcia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
