Walmir Brasil took the ball and in the 7 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Luís Guilherme Dante. Luís Guilherme Dante dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 11th minute, Ian Saldanha managed to get in a good position for a shot. Alasca's supporters rose to their feet, but Ian Saldanha was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cafu Dias breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Gernando de Castro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Abertao SS's Cafu Dias proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 14th minute of the match, managed to save Abertao SS from getting a goal against them. Cafu Dias was out of position in the 14 minute of play, and Ian Saldanha capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Ian Saldanha really showed his touch with that goal: 1-1. After 37 played minutes Abertao SS got a freekick which was hit by Egídio Vides. Ian Saldanha did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 3-1 to the left of a surprised Cafu Dias 39 minutes into the match. If Walmir Brasil had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-1 at half-time.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gernando de Castro to strike the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the match, Luís Paulo Branco dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Luís Guilherme Dante, 3-2. Cafu Dias made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ian Saldanha in the 55th minute of play. 60 minutes into the match, Alasca's goal looked a bit too open when Walmir Brasil came free, but Luís Guilherme Dante reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ian Saldanha in the 79th minute of play forced Abertao SS's goalkeeper Cafu Dias to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
