Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Nelson Vasconcelos started the match with the kick off. Eduardo Alagoano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Murilo Cruz, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. Vicente Proença's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 7thth minute, Eduardo Alagoano skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Eduardo Alagoano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Murilo Cruz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Murilo Cruz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Vicente Proenças short, quick shot in the 16thth minute got Eduardo Alagoano to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Eduardo Alagoano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Murilo Cruz in the 18th minute of the match. Vicente Proença could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 25th minute of the match, but Eduardo Alagoano made a huge save. Murilo Cruz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eduardo Alagoano having to interfere. Paulo Renato Lira stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Serginho Correia's shot from short distance in the 34th minute. Doni Cardozo charged in rather forcefully in the 39th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Doni Cardozo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Itapixuna SC getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Doni Cardozo hit a great ball. 41 minutes into the match, Itapixuna SC's goal looked a bit too open when Murilo Cruz came free, but Eduardo Alagoano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Murilo Cruz to make the kick off. In the 58th minute, Ronaldão Corrêa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Vicente Proença in the 61st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Eduardo Alagoano saved Itapixuna SC from getting behind. Eduardo Alagoano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Murilo Cruz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Itapixuna SC's Nelson Vasconcelos got a good chance for a goal in the 63rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 65 minutes into the match, Rocha's Murilo Cruz sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Eduardo Alagoano narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The Rocha fans' excitement grew in the 67th match minute when Rocha's Murilo Cruz looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Murilo Cruz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Vicente Proença in the 73rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Eduardo Alagoano prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The long shot by Rafael Cabral in the 78th minute really tested Paulo Renato Lira's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. After 83 played minutes Itapixuna SC got a freekick which was hit by Mané Dracena. Eduardo Alagoano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vicente Proença in the 84th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Murilo Cruz in the 87th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Eduardo Alagoano prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A collision led to Itapixuna SC getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Mané Dracena hit a great ball. Vânderson Prata received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Eduardo Alagoano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Vicente Proença fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eduardo Alagoano having to interfere. Rafa Ramalho hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. When the referee ended the match the Rocha players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
