Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Valério Mandrak took the kick off in the first half of the match. Álvaro Paraibano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carlos Augusto Branco in the 3rd minute of play. Paulo José Queiroz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 9th match minute, Coroveira EC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rodrigo Leão to maneuver through the defense. A nice corner shot did that Natanael Reis got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Zé Pedro Abreu quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 14th minute Carlos Augusto Branco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Álvaro Paraibano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Coroveira EC's Valério Mandrak in the 18th minute got a chance for a shot 18th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Reducao's goalie prevented a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Afonsinho Diniz in the 19th minute of play forced Coroveira EC's goalkeeper Zé Pedro Abreu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Zé Pedro Abreu made a fantastic save in the 21st minute, when Paulo José Queiroz sent off a good shot on target. After 23 played minutes Reducao got a freekick which was hit by Osmar Pinheiro. In the 24th minute of the match Humberto Sampaio shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Álvaro Paraibano showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Afonsinho Diniz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zé Pedro Abreu having to interfere. Carlos Augusto Branco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The supporters of Coroveira EC booed when Reducao was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Osmar Pinheiro didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 34th minute Valério Mandrak shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Álvaro Paraibano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Paulo José Queiroz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Paulo José Queiroz during the 35th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Reducao getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Paulo José Queiroz hit a great ball. Valério Mandrak blasted a shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Álvaro Paraibano having to make a save. In the 47th minute Valério Mandrak shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Álvaro Paraibano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.
53 minutes into the match, Afonsinho Diniz notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Coroveira EC's Zé Pedro Abreu. Zé Pedro Abreu was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Custódio Toledo hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. Carlos Augusto Branco struck a weak shot in the 63rd minute. Álvaro Paraibano didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Coroveira EC. When Carlos Augusto Branco came up free with the goalie in the 65th minute, the Coroveira EC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Carlos Augusto Branco couldn't finish the play. 68 minutes into the match, Coroveira EC's goal looked a bit too open when Afonsinho Diniz came free, but Zé Pedro Abreu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sílvio Luiz Urbano hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. Zé Pedro Abreu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Paulo José Queiroz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Valério Mandrak received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Álvaro Paraibano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rubens Braga hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. Álvaro Paraibano acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 80th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Humberto Sampaio. Custódio Toledo charged in rather forcefully in the 84th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Custódio Toledo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Reducao's Custódio Toledo got a free kick in the 84th minute. Humberto Sampaio, 85 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. In the 87th minute Valério Mandrak shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Álvaro Paraibano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Sílvio Luiz Urbano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 93 minutes into the match, Reducao's goal looked a bit too open when Valério Mandrak came free, but Álvaro Paraibano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Reducao were victorious despite being under pressure from Coroveira EC for much of the match.
