Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Juarês Xavier took the kick off in the first half of the match. Edson Baiano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. Walmir Azevedo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Cadete booed when Marapica AD was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luís Guilherme Neiva didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 7th minute, Marapica AD's Juarês Xavier ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Zé Paulo Varela. Zé Paulo Varela yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tomás Hames in the 16th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Walmir Azevedo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 21st minute, Cadete's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Gilvan de Queirós fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Cadete's Zé Paulo Varela proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 23rd minute of the match, managed to save Cadete from getting a goal against them. 26 minutes into the game, Edson Baiano cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Walmir Azevedo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Zé Paulo Varela made a fantastic save in the 30th minute, when Gilvan de Queirós sent off a good shot on target. Juarês Xavier sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cadete's Zé Paulo Varela proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 46th minute of the match, managed to save Cadete from getting a goal against them. After recieving a nice pass, Cadete's Rubinho de Amorim tried to score from far away in the 50th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar.

Zé Paulo Varela showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Juarês Xavier, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. In the 59thth minute of the game Juarês Xavier who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Cadete's Zé Paulo Varela was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Tibúrcio Gaspar fell near the penalty area in the 70th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cadete's protests and gave Tibúrcio Gaspar a yellow card for diving instead. In the 70th minute, Tibúrcio Gaspar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 72nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Cadete's goalkeeper Zé Paulo Varela, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 73 minutes into the match, Marapica AD's Juarês Xavier sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Zé Paulo Varela narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Juarês Xavier had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gilvan de Queirós fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zé Paulo Varela having to interfere. Marapica AD's Walmir Azevedo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 89th minute of the match, managed to save Marapica AD from getting a goal against them. After some fancy dribbling in the 90th minute, Gilvan de Queirós managed to get in a good position for a shot. Marapica AD's supporters rose to their feet, but Gilvan de Queirós was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Zé Paulo Varela breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Juarês Xavier had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Cadete's Edson Baiano in the 95th minute got a chance for a shot 95th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Marapica AD's goalie prevented a goal. 97 minutes into the match, Marapica AD's Gilvan de Queirós sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Zé Paulo Varela narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Zé Paulo Varela came out of the goal in the 98th minute to try and stop a shot by Marapica AD's Juarês Xavier. But to his dismay, Juarês Xavier quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
