Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Juarês Xavier started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. When Marapica AD's Gilvan de Queirós in the 4th minute got a chance for a shot 4th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Safiro's goalie prevented a goal. Marapica AD's Juarês Xavier got a good chance for a goal in the 10th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Gilvan de Queirós recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 11th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Juarês Xavier fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aílton Araújo having to interfere. In the 15th minute Gilvan de Queirós shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aílton Araújo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Marapica AD booed when Safiro was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ademir Prata didn't get a good kick on the ball. Aílton Araújo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Juarês Xavier, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Juarês Xavier in the 19th minute of play forced Safiro's goalkeeper Aílton Araújo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Aílton Araújo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Juarês Xavier in the 24th minute of play. The goalkeeper, Walmir Azevedo, was totally fooled by Safiro's Hélio Lira, who 28 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. When Safiro's Thomás Mandrak in the 31st minute got a chance for a shot 31st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Marapica AD's goalie prevented a goal. After a rather tough play, Safiro's Tomás Soeiro got a free kick in the 34th minute. Gilvan de Queirós sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Juarês Xavier in the 44th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Aílton Araújo saved Safiro from getting behind. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

In the 52nd minute, Thomás Mandrak got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 53 minutes into the game, Safiro's Thomás Mandrak nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Walmir Azevedo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. 60 minutes into the match, Marapica AD's Juarês Xavier sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Aílton Araújo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 61st minute, Gilvan de Queirós ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Aílton Araújo was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. If Thomás Mandrak had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 71 played minutes Marapica AD got a freekick which was hit by Robinho Pernambucano. Cícero Viana sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Walmir Azevedo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Thomás Mandrak in the 75th minute of play. In the 75th match minute, Marapica AD was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hernani Valladares to maneuver through the defense. If Gilvan de Queirós had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Juarês Xavier sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 82 minutes into the match, Safiro's Thomás Mandrak sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Walmir Azevedo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Gilvan de Queirós sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 86 minutes into the game, Gilvan de Queirós cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Aílton Araújo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When Safiro's Thomás Mandrak in the 93rd minute got a chance for a shot 93rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie.
