Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Sebastião Rezende started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. After having played for 7 minutes, Sebastião Rezende managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Timbu SS's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sebastião Rezende was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Fausto Arruda struck a weak shot in the 9th minute. Severino Eger didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Timbu SS. Sebastião Rezende's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Severino Eger read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 10th minute of play. Tomasio's Baltazar Rezende suffered a sore thigh after 15 minutes and couldn't finish the game. In the 20th minute, Valdo de Sena fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Natanael Tavares, passed just outside the right post. In the 21st minute, Marcus Faustino hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After recieving a nice pass, Tomasio's Carlinhos Massa tried to score from far away in the 22nd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Valdo de Sena fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Natanael Tavares having to interfere. Valdo de Senas short, quick shot in the 27thth minute got Natanael Tavares to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Severino Eger made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sebastião Rezende in the 29th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Cléberson Galvão during the 29th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Timbu SS booed when Tomasio was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cléberson Galvão didn't get a good kick on the ball. Severino Eger made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sebastião Rezende in the 35th minute of play. The tension between the Timbu SS and the Tomasio players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Timbu SS getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Fausto Arruda hit a great ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Fernando Brasil kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. Tiago Gabriel Ferraz took the ball and in the 63 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Severino Eger. Severino Eger dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. In the 66th minute, Fernando Brasil got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Severino Eger didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 70th minute, which inside left pole to 1-2. Sebastião Rezende fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Severino Eger having to interfere. When Sebastião Rezende came up free with the goalie in the 87th minute, the Timbu SS fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sebastião Rezende couldn't finish the play. Natanael Tavares took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Valdo de Sena, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Severino Eger showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sebastião Rezende, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Valdo de Sena in the 92nd minute of play forced Timbu SS's goalkeeper Natanael Tavares to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Timbu SS's Sebastião Rezende got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Valdo de Sena received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Natanael Tavares tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
