When Wilian Soares fell near the penalty area in the 3rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Calambau's protests and gave Wilian Soares a yellow card for diving instead. After 3 played minutes Calambau got a freekick which was hit by Wilian Soares. Erivaldo Coelho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Nilton do Vale kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. In the 16thth minute of the game Christiano Paulista who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Roncadon's Lenílson Veloso was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Christiano Paulista had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Wilian Soares fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lenílson Veloso having to interfere. Christiano Paulista struck a weak shot in the 25th minute. Lenílson Veloso didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Calambau. Roncadon's Erivaldo Coelho got a good chance for a goal in the 28th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Erivaldo Coelho could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 30th minute of the match, but Donato de Andrade made a huge save. 34 minutes into the match, Christiano Paulista notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Roncadon's Lenílson Veloso. Lenílson Veloso was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Wilian Soares scored 0-2 in the 38th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Lenílson Veloso, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 43rd minute Wilian Soares shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lenílson Veloso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 44 minutes, Bruninho Arantes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Roncadon's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bruninho Arantes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Wilian Soares had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After the first half Calambau were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Christiano Paulista to make the kick off. Christiano Paulista's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Lenílson Veloso read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 53rd minute of play. In the 60th minute, Wilian Soares left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Calambau fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. In the 63rd minute, Edinho Torres hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Duarte Zanette took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 69th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Lenílson Veloso. Roncadon's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Bruninho Arantes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Donato de Andrade tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 73 played minutes Calambau got a freekick which was hit by Enrique Marquez. With his leg Lenílson Veloso managed to avoid a goal in the 80thth minute, when Calambau's Wilian Soares fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. If Christiano Paulista had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Donato de Andrade made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bruninho Arantes in the 92nd minute of play. Erivaldo Coelho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Donato de Andrade having to interfere. In the 96thth minute of the game Erivaldo Coelho who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Calambau's Donato de Andrade was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The Roncadon supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Calambau's performance. The match ended with a win for Calambau.
