Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Caco Fontes made the kick off which started today's match. 3 minutes into the match, Salseiro SS's goal looked a bit too open when Caco Fontes came free, but Belmiro da Mata reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 5 minutes into the match, Salseiro SS's goal looked a bit too open when Marcelo Teles came free, but Belmiro da Mata reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 6 played minutes Fábio Prata rounded Matapagipe's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-0. In the 9th minute, Fábio Prata got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Caco Fontes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Belmiro da Mata having to interfere. The supporters of Matapagipe booed when Salseiro SS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gilmar de Lara didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Agenor Magalhães during the 20th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Salseiro SS getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Agenor Magalhães hit a great ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Maurinho Cerezo kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Ricardinho Moreno. That made the score 2-0 in the 24 minute of play. Matapagipe were awarded a corner in the 35th minute after Salseiro SS's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Carlos Eduardo Prata took the corner. After a defensive mix-up in Salseiro SS's zone, Marcelo Teles stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Belmiro da Mata came out of the goal and Marcelo Teles tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Caco Fontes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Belmiro da Mata having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Marcelo Teles's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Belmiro da Mata was relentless in the 46th minute of the game. After 48 minutes, Diogo Guedes mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Matapagipe and the Salseiro SS players grew even worse after the yellow card.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Fábio Prata made a kick off. Marcelo Teles might have been able to make a better finish in the 54th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Belmiro da Mata. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Marcelo Teles ran back to his position shaking his head. With a little luck, Salseiro SS's Belmiro da Mata got control of the ball when Marcelo Teles tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 57 minutes, Serafim Martins mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Matapagipe and the Salseiro SS players grew even worse after the yellow card. Serafim Martins kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. In the 62nd minute, Caco Fontes fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Belmiro da Mata, passed just outside the right post. Marcelo Teles sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Fábio Prata blasted a shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ricardinho Moreno having to make a save. Matapagipe's Caco Fontes got a good chance for a goal in the 76th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ricardinho Moreno came out of the goal in the 77th minute to try and stop a shot by Salseiro SS's Fábio Prata. But to his dismay, Fábio Prata quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 82nd minute, Caco Fontes managed to get in a good position for a shot. Matapagipe's supporters rose to their feet, but Caco Fontes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Belmiro da Mata breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 96th minute of the match, Marcelo Teles got a very nice opportunity to score, but Belmiro da Mata was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. After 97 played minutes Salseiro SS got a freekick which was hit by Agenor Magalhães. Salseiro SS were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Matapagipe for a fine match.
