Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Raí Prado started the match with the kick off. 1-0 became the score in the 3rd minute when José Paulo Paraíba elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Raí Prado's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Elano Mandrak was relentless in the 7th minute of the game. After 10 minutes, Natanael Carioca mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Cantagallo and the Caconda players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Cantagallo's Natanael Carioca got a free kick in the 10th minute. Elano Mandrak made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Raí Prado in the 11th minute of play. José Paulo Paraíba's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 13thth minute, Elano Mandrak skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Geraldo Gomes didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Waldir Coelho went, in the 22nd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Raí Prado fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Elano Mandrak having to interfere. Geraldo Gomes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Waldir Coelho in the 29th minute of play. Waldir Coelho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Waldir Coelho recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Zé Augusto Tepedino recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Elano Mandrak stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Raí Prado's shot from short distance in the 40th minute. 41 minutes into the game, Caconda's Raí Prado nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Elano Mandrak made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Silvinho Cosme made a kick off. Geraldo Gomes made a fantastic save in the 53rd minute, when Waldir Coelho sent off a good shot on target. Silvinho Cosme sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Silvinho Cosme in the 57th minute of play forced Caconda's goalkeeper Geraldo Gomes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If José Paulo Paraíba had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 65th minute the ball was on its way in behind Caconda's goalkeeper Geraldo Gomes, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 66th minute, Zé Augusto Tepedino hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 67th minute, Silvinho Cosme got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Waldir Coelho could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 69th minute of the match, but Geraldo Gomes made a huge save. After a defensive mix-up in Caconda's zone, Silvinho Cosme stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Geraldo Gomes came out of the goal and Silvinho Cosme tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 75 played minutes, Cantagallo's Paulo Vale shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Geraldo Gomes came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Cantagallo reached it. Waldir Coelho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Silvinho Cosme blasted a shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Geraldo Gomes having to make a save. After a defensive mix-up in Caconda's zone, Waldir Coelho stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Geraldo Gomes came out of the goal and Waldir Coelho tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With his leg Geraldo Gomes managed to avoid a goal in the 86thth minute, when Cantagallo's Waldir Coelho fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Silvinho Cosme sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sandro Gaspar's late challenge caught a Cantagallo's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Sandro Gaspar helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Caconda getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Sandro Gaspar hit a great ball. Lúcio Hermes hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. José Paulo Paraíba received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 98th minute. Elano Mandrak tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
