A hard shot 12 in the game by José Paulo Paraíba from a close distance when the talented Virgílio de Mendonça managed to make a qualified save. Cahem's players were relieved. 18 minutes into the match, Caconda's goal looked a bit too open when Doni Gerber came free, but Geraldo Gomes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dudu Alagoano charged in rather forcefully in the 24th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Dudu Alagoano the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Cahem booed when Caconda was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dudu Alagoano didn't get a good kick on the ball. After recieving a nice pass, Cahem's Wellington Linhares tried to score from far away in the 25th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Eduardo Galvão received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Geraldo Gomes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 38 minutes, Eduardo Galvão managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cahem's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eduardo Galvão was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Dudu Alagoano was shown his second yellow card after 43 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. After 44 played minutes Caconda got a freekick which was hit by Dudu Alagoano. José Paulo Paraíba who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 47thth minute tested the skills of Virgílio de Mendonça when he managed to save the team from getting behind.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for José Paulo Paraíba to strike the kick off in the second half. Cauan Passos thought of kicking away a contribution in front of goal but messed it up so badly that the ball went to the right of an astonished Virgílio de Mendonça, a very annoying self made goal in the 52nd minute which led to 2-1. After 57 played minutes Doni Gerber rounded Caconda's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 2-2. After a rather tough play, Caconda's Raí Prado got a free kick in the 60th minute. 67 minutes into the match, Caconda's goal looked a bit too open when Doni Gerber came free, but Geraldo Gomes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 72nd minute, Virgílio Sarmento hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 73rd minute, Lúcio Hermes sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Cahem's Virgílio de Mendonça didn't even have to move. Caconda's defense didn't have a chance, in the 82nd minute, when Eduardo Galvão scored to the left of an out of position Geraldo Gomes, making the score, 2-3. 91 minutes into the game, Doni Gerber lined in a short shot 2-4 behind a frustrated Geraldo Gomes. The supporters of Cahem booed when Caconda was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. José Paulo Paraíba didn't get a good kick on the ball. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Cahem walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
