The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Sandro Quaresma was the one to do the kick off. When Moisés Rosado came up free with the goalie in the 55th minute, the Itahype fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Moisés Rosado couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Itahype's Samuca Mattos got a free kick in the 60th minute. The supporters of Itahype booed when Tuiutinga FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Miguel Cavalcante didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cícero Valadares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Albertinho Bastos in the 69th minute of play. A collision led to Tuiutinga FC getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. The Itahype fans cheered their team off the field, for while Tuiutinga FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
