The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Washington Prata showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 21 minutes into the match, Ivai AD's goal looked a bit too open when Roberto Koehler came free, but Washington Prata reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Itahype's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Pedrinho Loyola was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. After a defensive mix-up in Itahype's zone, Rogério Dracena stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cícero Valadares came out of the goal and Rogério Dracena tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ivai AD's Luiz Fernando Pena suffered a fractured collar bone after 78 minutes and couldn't finish the game. 78 minutes into the game, Víktor Perez was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Itahype's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ivai AD the free kick. In the 79th match minute, Itahype was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Víktor Perez to maneuver through the defense.
