When Alfredo Eger fell near the penalty area in the 4th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Guriri SC's protests and gave Alfredo Eger a yellow card for diving instead. In the 4th minute, Alfredo Eger hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Hélder da Mata received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Fernando Pontes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 12th minute Albertino Dias shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adelino Eger saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dudu Alagoano recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 24th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Lessa's Noel Chaves got a good chance for a goal in the 32nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 35th minute, Albertino Dias managed to get in a good position for a shot. Guriri SC's supporters rose to their feet, but Albertino Dias was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Adelino Eger breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Américo Ribeiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adelino Eger having to interfere. Adelino Eger didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Guriri SC's Américo Ribeiro shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 1-0 in the ordered_time% minute.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Hélder da Mata to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute Dudu Alagoano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fernando Pontes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 59 minutes into the game, Guriri SC's Albertino Dias nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Adelino Eger made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. 64 minutes into the match, Albertino Dias notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Lessa's Adelino Eger. Adelino Eger was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When Alberto Vinhas fell near the penalty area in the 69th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Lessa's protests and gave Alberto Vinhas a yellow card for diving instead. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 69th minute of the game. One of Lessa:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Guriri SC:s goal. In the 72nd minute there was a penalty for Guriri SC. Erik Sampaio stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Adelino Eger. 4-0. After 76 played minutes Lessa got a freekick which was hit by Roger Dias. Erik Sampaio, 77 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. After 78 played minutes Lessa got a freekick which was hit by Toninho Nascimento. Albertino Dias recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Roger Dias kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. Américo Ribeiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dudu Alagoano recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 87th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Guriri SC's Américo Ribeiro got a good chance for a goal in the 89th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Adelino Eger came out of the goal in the 91st minute to try and stop a shot by Guriri SC's Américo Ribeiro. But to his dismay, Américo Ribeiro quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. Guriri SC's Américo Ribeiro got a good chance for a goal in the 95th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Guriri SC fully deserved thier win.
