The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Valdir Trigo to strike the kick off in the second half. After 51 played minutes Mazagao AD got a freekick which was hit by Benê Guedes. Enio de Sena could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 52nd minute of the match, but Erivaldo Secco made a huge save. If Arí Corrêa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After a defensive mix-up in Mazagao AD's zone, Enio de Sena stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Erivaldo Secco came out of the goal and Enio de Sena tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 57 minutes into the match, Valdir Trigo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Erivaldo Secco. Mazagao AD's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Valdir Trigo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. If Enio de Sena had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd rose to their feet as Anelio's Valdir Trigo slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Erivaldo Secco. That made the score 0-3 after 63 minutes of play. A collision led to Mazagao AD getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Jano Castro hit a great ball. A hard shot 69 in the game by Enio de Sena from a close distance when the talented Erivaldo Secco managed to make a qualified save. Mazagao AD's players were relieved. In the 74th minute Valdir Trigo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Erivaldo Secco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Anelio's Francisco Amaral played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arí Corrêa in the 76th minute of play. In the 77th minute the ball was on its way in behind Mazagao AD's goalkeeper Erivaldo Secco, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Enio de Sena recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 78th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Valdir Trigo came up free with the goalie in the 81st minute, the Anelio fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Valdir Trigo couldn't finish the play. Enio de Sena fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Erivaldo Secco having to interfere. If Valdir Trigo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 89th minute Arí Corrêa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Francisco Amaral saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Enio de Sena came up free with the goalie in the 92nd minute, the Anelio fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Enio de Sena couldn't finish the play. Benê Guedes hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. The Mazagao AD supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Anelio's performance. The match ended with a win for Anelio.
