Walmir Seco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 10 minutes, Silvinho Saraiva managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Dormida FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Silvinho Saraiva was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Juarana's Nilmar de Andrade played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jerônimo Travassos in the 13th minute of play. Nilmar de Andrade made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from César Velasco in the 21st minute of play. In the 23rd of the match, César Velasco tried to place the ball in the upper right corner, but Nilmar de Andrade got in the way and made a wonderful save. After a defensive mix-up in Dormida FC's zone, Eurico Bittencourt stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eliseu Carioca came out of the goal and Eurico Bittencourt tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 29 minutes, Eurico Bittencourt managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Juarana's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eurico Bittencourt was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Eliseu Carioca showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Walmir Seco, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. Silvinho Saraiva received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Nilmar de Andrade tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Silvinho Saraiva had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Eurico Bittencourt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Eliseu Carioca tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Juarana's Nilmar de Andrade proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 45th minute of the match, managed to save Juarana from getting a goal against them. If César Velasco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The wind increased when César Velasco made the kick off in the second half. Eurico Bittencourt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Eliseu Carioca tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dormida FC's Eliseu Carioca proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 70th minute of the match, managed to save Dormida FC from getting a goal against them. A hard shot by José Augusto Cunha from long distance, 76 minutes into the match, got Eliseu Carioca's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Eliseu Carioca made a fantastic save in the 80th minute, when Eurico Bittencourt sent off a good shot on target. In the 82nd minute, Danilo Rezende hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Juarana's attack was well implemented in the 84th minute, but when Eurico Bittencourt was about to shoot he didn't get a good hit on the ball and it hit the crossbar and flew over. Goal Kick. After 85 played minutes Dormida FC got a freekick which was hit by Danilo Rezende. After having played for 88 minutes, Eurico Bittencourt managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Juarana's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eurico Bittencourt was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 91st minute, Nelsinho Eger hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gil Ortiz was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 92nd played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. After 94 minutes, Chiquinho Bezerra mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Juarana and the Dormida FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 94th match minute, Juarana was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Chiquinho Bezerra to maneuver through the defense. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
