Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Andrézinho Maranhense took the kick off in the first half of the match. After a rather tough play, Estremo's Tiago Gabriel Valle got a free kick in the 8th minute. Wilian Silva's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Cícero Proença read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 9th minute of play. The supporters of Estremo booed when Pimenteiras AD was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. José Pedro Alves didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jacinto Cardoso was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 12th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, Pimenteiras AD's Nilson Recife got a free kick in the 13th minute. José Augusto Mumbach made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Andrézinho Maranhense in the 14th minute of play. Lauro Cardozo struck a weak shot in the 16th minute. José Augusto Mumbach didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Estremo. Cícero Proença made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zé Carlos Mattos in the 19th minute of play. Luiz Paraense's late challenge caught a Estremo's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Luiz Paraense helped the player get up and apologised. José Augusto Mumbach went to the wrong direction when Jacinto Cardoso was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. Cícero Proença took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wilian Silva, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Andrézinho Maranhense in the 30th minute of play forced Pimenteiras AD's goalkeeper José Augusto Mumbach to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Kiko da Silva during the 31st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Pimenteiras AD getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Kiko da Silva hit a great ball. Andrézinho Maranhense's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but José Augusto Mumbach read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 35th minute of play. Lauro Cardozo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without José Augusto Mumbach having to make a save. Andrézinho Maranhense received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. José Augusto Mumbach tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lauro Cardozo got free with José Augusto Mumbach in the 40th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Wilian Silva to strike the kick off in the second half. After some careless play in the Pimenteiras AD defense, Andrézinho Maranhense kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of José Augusto Mumbach. The Pimenteiras AD fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that José Augusto Mumbach should have stopped the shot. In the 56th minute, Glauco Saldanha hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Andrézinho Maranhense received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. José Augusto Mumbach tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Lenílson Branco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Andrézinho Maranhense had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. José Augusto Mumbach showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Andrézinho Maranhense, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. Dudu Garcia hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. Lauro Cardozo struck a weak shot in the 90th minute. José Augusto Mumbach didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Estremo. In the 94th minute, Luiz Gaspar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. There was no doubt that Estremo were the better team. Estremo's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
