The supporters of Gaviaosinho SC booed when Pederneira AD was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. César Cearense didn't get a good kick on the ball. 16 minutes into the match, Gaviaosinho SC's goalkeeper Ramón Leme had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Anísio Mendes. Pederneira AD's Luís Gustavo Cerezo got a good chance for a goal in the 18th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Anísio Mendes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ramón Leme having to interfere. Ramón Leme showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luís Gustavo Cerezo, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. If Luís Gustavo Cerezo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 26th minute, Evandro Gomes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Gaviaosinho SC booed when Pederneira AD was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anísio Mendes didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 31st minute André Luís Varela shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zé Marquez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Pederneira AD getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Paulo Renato Chaves hit a great ball. André Luís Varela scored 0-1 in the 35th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Zé Marquez, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. André Luís Varela recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.

In the 51st minute, Pederneira AD's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after André Luís Varela fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. After 53 minutes, João Paulo Medeiros mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Pederneira AD and the Gaviaosinho SC players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Pederneira AD getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. João Paulo Medeiros hit a great ball. Zé Marquez made a fantastic save in the 56th minute, when João Pedro Saldanha sent off a good shot on target. After some fancy dribbling in the 58th minute, João Pedro Saldanha managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gaviaosinho SC's supporters rose to their feet, but João Pedro Saldanha was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Zé Marquez breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Anísio Mendes took the ball and in the 62 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ramón Leme. Ramón Leme dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 65th minute, João Pedro Saldanha managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gaviaosinho SC's supporters rose to their feet, but João Pedro Saldanha was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Zé Marquez breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ramón Leme made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anísio Mendes in the 67th minute of play. After 69 played minutes Gaviaosinho SC got a freekick which was hit by André Luís Varela. João Paulo Medeiros got his second yellow card in the match during the 87th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. João Paulo Medeiros kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
