Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Edmundo Vergílio started the match with the kick off. Ramón Leme made an important save on a dangerous shot by Clóvis Vander in the 5th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edmundo Vergílio in the 11th minute of play forced Gaviaosinho SC's goalkeeper Ramón Leme to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Crubixa EC getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Zé da Mata hit a great ball. In the 15th minute of the match Dito Pimenta shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Perivaldo de Brito showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Benedito Carvalho had several of the Gaviaosinho SC's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 17 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-0 score and a disappointed Ramón Leme as he didn't even see the shot coming. A collision led to Crubixa EC getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Adrianinho Guimarães hit a great ball. If João Pedro Saldanha had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. André Luís Varela recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 25th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Benedito Carvalho kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Ramón Leme. That made the score 2-0 in the 28 minute of play. When Adrianinho Guimarães fell near the penalty area in the 31st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Crubixa EC's protests and gave Adrianinho Guimarães a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Gaviaosinho SC booed when Crubixa EC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adrianinho Guimarães didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 34 minutes of play, Gaviaosinho SC's João Pedro Saldanha made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Perivaldo de Brito was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a rather tough play, Gaviaosinho SC's Silvério Velloso got a free kick in the 40th minute. Ramón Leme made a fantastic save in the 41st minute, when Benedito Carvalho sent off a good shot on target. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

João Pedro Saldanha sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 57th minute, Benedito Carvalho ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ramón Leme was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. Edmundo Vergílio took the ball and in the 65 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ramón Leme. Ramón Leme dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-1. If Edmundo Vergílio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ramón Leme took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adrianinho Guimarães, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 80 played minutes Gaviaosinho SC got a freekick which was hit by Evandro Gomes. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Edmundo Vergílio in the 83rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ramón Leme prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 83 minutes, Edmundo Vergílio made it 5-1 with a short kick to the right side. Gaviaosinho SC's Ramón Leme tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. The crowd rose to their feet as Gaviaosinho SC's André Luís Varela slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Perivaldo de Brito. That made the score 5-2 after 89 minutes of play.
