Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Clóvis Ramalho started the match with the kick off. If Durval Motta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 2nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Arthur Romero didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 4th minute, which inside left pole to 1-0. César Baptista made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Washington Leite in the 8th minute of play. Dráusio Nascimento received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. César Baptista tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Denílson Miranda hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. Dráusio Nascimento recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 15th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Gilmar Quintal fell near the penalty area in the 16th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Moinho's protests and gave Gilmar Quintal a yellow card for diving instead. Gilmar Quintal hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. 24 minutes into the match, Criminoso's goal looked a bit too open when Durval Motta came free, but Arthur Romero reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 25 minutes into the game, Duarte Cordeiro was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Criminoso's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Moinho the free kick. Duarte Cordeiro hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. Washington Leite might have been able to make a better finish in the 30th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over César Baptista. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Washington Leite ran back to his position shaking his head. Dráusio Nascimento sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gernando Linhares's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 35thth minute, Arthur Romero skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Gernando Linhares could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 45th minute of the match, but Arthur Romero made a huge save. A collision led to Criminoso getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Washington Leite hit a great ball. Moinho's Gernando Linhares got a good chance for a goal in the 48th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

In the 53rd minute Clóvis Ramalho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but César Baptista saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 55 minutes into the match, Criminoso's goal looked a bit too open when Durval Motta came free, but Arthur Romero reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dráusio Nascimento sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Clóvis Ramalho's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but César Baptista read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 59th minute of play. In the 68th match minute, Moinho was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gilmar Quintal to maneuver through the defense. 74 minutes into the game, Gernando Linhares cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Arthur Romero was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Durval Motta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. César Baptista stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Clóvis Ramalho's shot from short distance in the 86th minute. Arthur Romero showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gilmar Quintal, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. Clóvis Ramalho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. César Baptista tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Moinho's zone, Dráusio Nascimento stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. César Baptista came out of the goal and Dráusio Nascimento tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 93rd minute, Moinho's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Washington Leite fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. When Zé Carlos Eger fell near the penalty area in the 96th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Criminoso's protests and gave Zé Carlos Eger a yellow card for diving instead. Zé Carlos Eger kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. Criminoso's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
