Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Mondego FC's Guilherme Zonta started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 4 minutes into the match, Criminoso's goalkeeper Arthur Romero had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Edgard Machado. Alfredo Lopez kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. Juninho de Almeida didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Clóvis Ramalho went, in the 8th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. When Washington Leite fell near the penalty area in the 11th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Criminoso's protests and gave Washington Leite a yellow card for diving instead. In the 11th match minute, Criminoso was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Washington Leite to maneuver through the defense. 12 minutes into the game, Mondego FC's Edgard Machado nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Arthur Romero made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Criminoso's Arthur Romero proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 23rd minute of the match, managed to save Criminoso from getting a goal against them. Juninho de Almeida stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Dráusio Nascimento's shot from short distance in the 25th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Mondego FC's zone, Clóvis Ramalho stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Juninho de Almeida came out of the goal and Clóvis Ramalho tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 35th minute, Edgard Machado managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mondego FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Edgard Machado was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Arthur Romero breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Guilherme Zonta received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Arthur Romero tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 47 minutes, Dráusio Nascimento managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Criminoso's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dráusio Nascimento was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Clóvis Ramalho made a kick off. If Dráusio Nascimento had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Clóvis Ramalho struck a weak shot in the 58th minute. Juninho de Almeida didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Criminoso. Edgard Machado's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Arthur Romero read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 60th minute of play. Criminoso's Clóvis Ramalho got a good chance for a goal in the 62nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Raúl Lago fell near the penalty area in the 63rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Mondego FC's protests and gave Raúl Lago a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Mondego FC's Raúl Lago got a free kick in the 63rd minute. Arthur Romero took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Guilherme Zonta, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Mondego FC getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Raúl Lago hit a great ball. Clóvis Ramalho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Juninho de Almeida having to interfere. Criminoso's Dráusio Nascimento got a good chance for a goal in the 80th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Edgard Machado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 93rd match minute, Mondego FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edgard Machado to maneuver through the defense. Juninho de Almeida made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Clóvis Ramalho in the 95th minute of play. Criminoso played a much better game than Mondego FC and deserved their victory. The Mondego FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
